Ming Lim
Clinical Psychologist

Ming is a clinical psychologist and board-approved supervisor, who completed a M. Psych (Clinical) from James Cook University. Clinically, Ming has extensive experience in psychological assessments and treatment planning for developmental disorders (Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities), as well as child and adult psychopathologies (mood / anxiety disorders, personality disorders, PTSD).

As a practitioner, Ming is dedicated to providing the best quality of care and services for people from all walks of life. Ming believes strongly in the early intervention approach and in evidence-based practices.

As a AHPRA-approved supervisor, Ming has an unwavering dedication to teaching and training the next generation of psychologists.

Ming has published research papers on emotional intelligence, brain training, and cognitive abilities.
Mabel Lau
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
Mabel is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a Psychology background. She completed her Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Canberra. Before embarking on her speech pathology journey, Mabel obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of Wollongong, where she researched on the interaction between language, memory, and learning. She has published research papers and presented at international conferences. Mabel has a strong interest in language and her experience working with students as a university tutor has shaped her passion in helping children develop their communication skills.

Mabel enjoys working with children with speech, language, and early literacy difficulties. She is trained in Read3 (evidence-based early literacy intervention) and Hanen’s More Than Words® (social communication program).
​
Mabel is a bilingual and enjoys working with multicultural and multilingual families. As a mother, Mabel understands the benefits of making therapy fun and engaging, as well as the importance of including and empowering parents in their child’s therapy journey. She is committed to the use of evidence-based practices to support children and their families to achieve their goals.

In her free time, Mabel enjoys spending time with her family, exploring food recipes, and reading.
